Actually the IAEA has submitted many complaints about Irans nuclear program. The biggest problem is that Iran does not allow Inspectors on many of their sites. So the inspectors can only go off of the sites they have access to. Also the UN has taken some action against Iran again because Iran has failed to allow access to nuclear sites. Indecently these sites also happen to be the most defended sites in Iran. Built largely underground and surrounded with air defense systems.
The IAEA is the International Atomic Energy Agency, the world body responsible for keeping track of nuclear capability.
They have more inspectors in Iran then in any other country. They have concluded Iran is not trying to make nuclear weapons.

The difference is that Israel and the US dont go around threatening to wipe other nations off the map and actively giving weapons to terrorists. Iran on the other hand does do this. The major world powers will always have nuclear weapons simply because there is no way to ensure that everyone else disarms. However that does not mean that it is hypocritical to oppose and fight against Rogue nations that support terrorism and are trying to attain nuclear weapons.

we are not threatening the Russians they are threatening the nations of Eastern Europe and dont want to lose that ability to threaten those nations because of a missile shield. Secondly Russia already has an enormous missile defense system in their country so the argument that they dont want us to have the upper-hand as far as defense goes is a lame argument that they put out. The cold war is over this is about Russia wanting to retain power over neighboring nations.
