Two days ago, this girl showed up naked at the Statue of Liberty. For Alan Bauer, it was love at first sight. Now, everyone is chasing her… trying to prove she’s a mermaid. So I wonder if the rescue divers drowned then…hope not!

i always wanted to a mermaid when i was a little boy. we even went to toy r us to find fins but they didnt have them. still want to be one up to this day.

i have just discovered the sequel to this movie, i always thought that madison and allen went to live in that underwater city and that he turned into a merman….turns out that they just live on a deserted island for four years until he gets bored and wants to go back to new york (without tom hanks playing allen) what a swiss!?

Hey all you mermaid lovers out there – do a search here on you tube for Weeki Wachee. It is a place north of Tampa where there is a live mermaid show in a spring that has crystal clear water. There are big plate glass windows and they have women with mermaid tails do a show! I loved it as a little girl!
