Two days ago, this girl showed up naked at the Statue of Liberty. For Alan Bauer, it was love at first sight. Now, everyone is chasing her… trying to prove she’s a mermaid. From the first laugh you’ll be hooked. Allen Bauer Thought He’d Never Find The Right Woman… He Was Only Half Wrong! She Was The Woman Of His Dreams – She Had Large Dark Eyes, A Beautiful Smile And A Great Pair Of Fins.

if somethin works for me, i stick with it!
@meetashley you’re kidding me. The slim guy is TOM HANKS, one of the greatest american actors alive! The fat guy is John Candy, and he’s pretty awesome too!
That’s so irritating when you’re drunk and want to throw up, and all people talk about is how drunk you are.
“You know why she left? Because I didn’t love her.”
“That bitch.”
John Candy rules.
that taxi cab driver is on crack

alvin and the chipmunks spoofed this – its impossible to find but the spoof is called Sploosh and i really want to see it. i know that jeanette is the mermaid, simon is allan and alvin is the bad guy, but i always think alvin should play the brother who’s always looking up the girl’s skirts cuz he’s so much like that

I’M ON THE BAR!!!!!
@WastedPo donĀ“t forget… Uncle Buck… good too
… i love john candy tooo
It’s no wonder people keep quoting great lines from this movie. The same writers who did this also wrote Ron Howard’s previous movie with Michael Keaton, Night Shift, another very witty movie.
@davidhaythornthwaite, agreed. My favorite (and one of my all time favorites) has to be Planes, Trains and Automobiles.
i truly wish john candy was still here, he made some very, very funny films. great actor truly missed..R I P
“I have a system on the desk!!!”
‘Anywhere but the first 3 rows!!!”
